Leicester City could be forced to sell Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall despite winning promotion back to the Premier League.

The Championship winners made a welcome return to English football’s top flight on their first claim this term.

But the Foxes could be forced to sell the Dewsbury-Hall star player this summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who spoke to GiveMeSport.

Leicester reported a pre-tax loss of £89.7m for the 2022/23 season, meaning they may have to sell players to comply with PSR rules on their return to the Premier League.

Dewsbury-Hall, who has been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal, recently spoke of his desire to stay with the Midlands club, having been with the side since joining their academy in 2006 aged eight.

But Jacobs said the midfielder may have to leave the club. He said: “I don’t think the Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall links overshadowed Leicester’s promotion. It is a fantastic achievement.
