Coventry’s creative quarter is celebrating the anniversary with a host of events

COVENTRY’S creative quarter will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a series of events.

Ahead of its awesome September leg, FarGo Village is celebrating with The Box Arts Fair X PopBangColour Car Fest from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, June 1 and from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, June 2 .

A range of local visual and sensory artists and unique cars will be on display.

The following weekend sees the FarGo Dog Festival in association with Broken Souls Rescue Charity on June 8. The charity will have a fundraising stand where the money raised will pay for veterinary, boarding and grooming costs for the dogs.

The packed calendar continues with the Summer Makers Market in the Market Hall on July 20 and 21 and will be topped off with the Oxford Beard Festival, which celebrates all aspects of facial hair.

Holly Hewitt, manager at FarGo Village, said: “We always want to appeal to the whole community and our countdown to day kick-off events reflect that.”
