The slot for the 2023-24 Championship play-offs has been set, with the four teams who will battle it out for the final Premier League promotion spot for the completed 2024-25 campaign.

Leicester City won the Championship title and Ipswich Town finished second to secure the two automatic promotion places, while Leeds United finished third, Southampton finished fourth, West Brom finished fifth and Norwich City finished sixth.

That means Leeds will play Norwich home and away and Southampton will face West Brom home and away in the semi-finals, with the winners then meeting in the Championship play-off final at Wembley on Sunday 26 May in the game called the ” the richest game in football. ‘ because the prize is a place in the Premier League.

There are some interesting storylines, with ex-Norwich boss Daniel Farke taking on his former club as he aims to help Leeds back into the Premier League at the first question.
