Police have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Langley Hall Park, Solihull.

A man in his 40s is believed to have been involved in a dispute with some youths at around 7pm on Saturday (May 11).

The man was then stabbed – suffering thankfully non-life-threatening injuries – and his attackers fled.

Following the investigation, the police identified suspects and two boys – aged 15 and 16 – were detained on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police also arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of aiding the criminals and all are in custody for questioning.
