Jet2 extends Leeds Bradford Airport journeys to see Norway’s fjords

Jet2 has extended the number of trips available to see Norway and the fjords for 2025 from Leeds Bradford Airport.

The airline has announced a schedule of flights and layovers to Bergen, a Norwegian city by the famous fjords, with tickets going on sale today. More flights have been added in response to customer demand.

Four breaks are now on sale for 2025, up from three in 2024. The schedules are on sale from Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks and are:

  • Two three-night weekend breaks departing Monday 5 May and 12 May 2025

  • Two four-week weekend breaks departing Thursday 5 May and 15 May 2025

This comes after the 2024 flight schedule started at the airport on May 2. This is the first time Jet2 has operated flights to Bergen in 2025. Travel to Bergen offers access to fjords such as Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, and Bergen itself offers access to a view of the mountains and its beautiful harbor. Called Bryggen, this port is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

According to Jet2, this program was launched in response to demand from customers as well as agents booking experiential holidays. The company says Jet2holidays’ ‘Discover More’ program caters specifically to this audience and includes trips for couples, solo travelers and more, offering trips to Cieland, Turkey and Croatia.

“Discover More” trips to Bergen include flights with Jet2.com, 22kg checked baggage and three, four and 4+ star accommodation. They also include ATOL protection for a £60 deposit and a full-day tour of the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord from Flam to Gudvangem, as well as a mountain railway trip to Myrdal.
