Brits looking for a responsible break should also consider Sweden, Norway and Finland, which round out the top five, scoring high for sustainability, press freedom and quality of life respectively.

The Netherlands and Estonia return to the top ten this year, after ranking 15th and 14th in 2023, as improvements in measures on LGBTQI rights, press freedom and LGBTQI rights and women’s rights respectively increased positions in the latest analysis.
