Two men named and charged after £350,000 worth of drugs found in Coventry

Two men have been charged after £350,000 worth of drugs were found in Coventry. Police also discovered a large amount of cash when they searched an address on Riverslea Road.

Officers first swooped on a car in Ellys Road in Radford at around 9pm on Monday (May 13). A small amount of cash and suspected cocaine were seized, West Midlands Police said.



Officers then searched an address on Riverslea Road where they found more than £100,000. Cocaine, believed to be worth around £350,000, was also found.

Florian Fasko and Perlat Prendi have been charged with possession with intent to supply drugs, West Midlands Police said. Both appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, May 15).

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We are continuing our work against serious and organized crime in the West Midlands as part of Operation Target.

“Operation Target is our force-wide program of action against all types of crime, from drugs to firearms and human exploitation.”
