Leak: Manchester City’s 2024/25 home shirt ‘unpacked’ in new video

Manchester City’s new 2024/25 home shirt has been ‘unboxed’ ahead of its official launch, as revealed in a new video from a reputable football shirt source.

Anticipation is starting to build ahead of next season with the ongoing campaign drawing to a close in recent weeks and Manchester City still have two more trophies to play for in their final four games.

Pep Guardiola and his players have the opportunity to win a fourth consecutive Premier League crown by winning their three remaining top-flight games, while an FA Cup final against Manchester United awaits in their final domestic clash of the season.

Part of the excitement for the new season is speculation over Manchester City’s new range of kit designs, produced by sportswear giants Puma, who are expected to officially launch their new home kit imminently.

However, ahead of the official release of Manchester City’s traditional blue shirt, images have started to circulate on social media which give supporters an early look at what they can expect to drop very soon.

Manchester City and Puma have gone for another bold design in their new release, with the collar and cuffs of the shirt paying homage to the ‘0161’ area code of the Greater Manchester area.

Social media was divided in its reaction to the new design and the reference to the Greater Manchester area code, with one user responding to the leaked images saying: “Maybe I’ll warm up but from the start it’s a no for me dawg.”

Manchester City’s away and third shirts and elsewhere are also expected to feature bold new designs, with early understanding from sources on social media that they will reference the 2012/13 and 1998 campaigns /1999.
