Man charged with firearms offenses after Northfield incidents

A man has been charged with firearms offenses after a series of incidents in Northfield. Connor Donaldson, 26, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court today, May 15, charged with firearm offences, driving and malicious communication.

West Midlands Police said they arrested Donaldson, of Hatton Close, Redditch, following an investigation into incidents on May 9 and earlier this year.



Donaldson was remanded in custody and will appear at Birmingham Crown Court on June 12. West Midlands Police released details of the charges on May 15, which said: “A man appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today charged with firearms offences.

“Connor Donaldson was arrested on May 13 following an investigation into two incidents that occurred on May 9. The 26-year-old has been charged with two counts of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life in connection with an incident in Fairfax Road, Northfield on the afternoon of May 9 and an earlier incident on Central Avenue, Birmingham.

“He was further charged with driving without insurance and malicious communications. He was remanded in custody and will appear at Birmingham Crown Court on June 12.”
