The Bristol Balloon Fiesta is supported by the likes of Tesla, Thatchers and Airbus

Electric car maker Tesla, cider maker Thatchers and aerospace giant Airbus are among the companies providing support for this year’s Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, it has been announced.

Bailey of Bristol Caravans, The Ivy restaurant chain and Butcombe Brewing Company have also pledged their support for Europe’s biggest annual hot air balloon gathering.

Bristol Junior Chamber, which was involved in setting up the Fiesta, is also joining forces with the event organizers as an official partner, while Clifton-based public relations firm Ambitious is providing PR and communications.

Ben Hardy, Chief Executive, Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, said: “We are proud that Fiesta 2024 will be partnered with famous local supporters from the business community in Bailey’s Caravans, Butcombe Brewery and Thatcher, alongside iconic restaurant The Ivy and global heavyweights from Airbus and Tesla.

“We are delighted that everyone is supporting us so enthusiastically and partnering with such renowned brands is an important validation for the fiesta. The event will have the eyes of the world on it with media attention mirroring its growing popularity.”

The 2024 event will take place over three days, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 August.

Mass ascents of more than 100 hot air balloons are scheduled twice a day, with the first balloons taking off around 6am and again at dusk around 6pm.
