Live Wakefield Road in Leeds has been closed due to a derelict pub fire

Wakefield Road in Leeds’ Belle Isle is closed in both directions after a derelict pub caught fire.

Fire crews are battling the blaze with the road closed from Queen Street to junction 7 of the M621 at Stourton. The closure is causing delays in the area.




Queen Street is also closed according to our traffic partner Inrix. An update on the traffic website said: “A639 Wakefield Road closed both ways, slow traffic due to building fire at derelict pub from Queen Street to M621 J7 ( Stourton ). Queen Street is also closed.”
