Weather maps show when UK temperatures will rise to 23 degrees Celsius

Brits are set to enjoy 23C later this week. The mercury is expected to rise, bringing sunshine to parts of the UK very soon.

Weather maps from WX Charts show warmer conditions on the way, while the Met Office said it will start to get more “pleasant”. Temperatures could reach 23C on Friday, May 10.




The Midlands and southern England are expected to see the best weather, with brighter conditions expected in Birmingham, London and Northampton. Conditions are expected to feel slightly cooler towards the coast around Brighton, Southampton and Eastbourne.

Further north, temperatures will also drop slightly for people in Manchester and Newcastle, the Express reports. Temperatures are also expected to be colder in Scotland and Wales.

Edinburgh could see highs of 17C, while Aberdeen and Inverness could see temperatures in the mid-teens. In Wales, there could be highs of 18C in eastern areas.

Speaking to Sky, Met Office meteorologist Ellie Glaisyer said: “In general it will be much more settled this week. It will start to feel much nicer with temperatures on Tuesday reaching the early 20s in the south and then later. during the week, we could see temperatures of around 22 to 23C, while the north is likely to reach temperatures in the teens.”
