Yellow signs warn drivers of delays ahead of three-day major road closure

Yellow signs warning drivers of delays are up in parts of Nuneaton ahead of a three-day road closure. A main part of Arbury Road will be closed for 72 hours.

The closure takes effect Monday, May 13. It is part of several works taking place on the main road section.

According to Warwickshire County Council’s online roadworks map, there are highway improvement works in the area. But ahead of the closure, just down the road from Croft Road, after the junction with Heath End Road, there will be two-way signals tomorrow (Wednesday 8 May) and Thursday 9 May.

Temporary traffic lights also remain further down Croft Road, just before the mini-island with Greenmoor Road. They are to remain in force until May 15.

Next weekend and there will be a lane closure on Queens Road on May 19. This is for highway improvement work, officials say.

Also on Coton Road, the stretch past Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church will be closed on Friday, May 17, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for roadway resurfacing. There will be a diversion.
