Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher slams ’embarrassing’ Man Utd players for post-match reaction

Jamie Carragher criticized the “disgraceful” behavior of Antony and Mason Mount after Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday night.

United were trained by Oliver Glasner’s side at Selhurst Park, raising further questions over Erik ten Hag’s future after another dismal display during the current campaign.

The Red Devils have now suffered a record 13 Premier League defeats and are around 13 points off the top four after what has been a disastrous second season for the Ten Hag.

Reacting to this latest setback to their season, Jamie Carragher was in attendance for Monday’s 4-0 thrashing and couldn’t believe his eyes after seeing Antony and Mount whisper to each other as they left the pitch.

“Just get off the pitch,” exclaimed Carragher after watching the pair’s footage live on Sky Sports. He added: “Talking and whispering behind your hand, you were absolutely terrible. They’re probably talking about one of the players, or someone else, or the set-up, or the manager. Just get off the field. Shut up and come in, you. I was beaten 4-0, whispering and talking about other players.

United are now 24 points behind Liverpool in the table after their latest loss of the season, which has now left them scrambling to salvage any sort of European football.
