The Woburn Street Bridge project begins in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, MA — Preservation of the Woburn Street Bridge over I-93 is scheduled to begin this month. The city received notice from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation regarding the project.

The project will begin with the installation of temporary traffic/signal poles on May 6, with the activation of temporary traffic signals expected in June.

This project is funded and managed by MassDOT and is expected to be a multi-year project including roadway/pavement improvements, bridge girder repair, bridge/elbow repairs and temporary traffic control.
