Phil Thompson, John Aldridge, Ian Callaghan, Phil Neal and Steve McMahon will share their personal stories and memories of what it was like to train at the club’s iconic training ground, now home to Liverpool FC Women.

Sit back and relax as you travel by coach from Anfield to Melwood, before being greeted by one of our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides at the entrance.

Find out how the name ‘Melwood’ came about and visit the dressing room, boot, pitch viewing areas, sports facilities and have your picture taken in the original press room.

Fans will also hear about how Bill Shankly put the players through their paces back in the day and how it compares to Matt Beard’s state-of-the-art modern training methods for the LFC Women’s team.

Walk onto the pitch and see where the LFC women prepare for matches and where former red men’s heroes trained before them, visit the manager’s office and the team dining room next to the social areas.

Throughout your visit, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask your chosen legend any questions you may have and take photos.

On your return coach to Anfield, you’ll enjoy a visit to The Liverpool FC Story museum, home to our impressive collection of silverware, plus a free souvenir guide to remember the fantastic day.
