Unlucky driver crashes stolen Range Rover into parked vehicles in Birmingham after chase near prison

A Range Rover stolen in Worcestershire was spotted in Birmingham city center by traffic police, leading to a pursuit that ended in a crash near a park. The £80,000 engine was spotted by West Midlands Police officers in the Winson Green area, near the city’s prison.

It was discovered the luxury car had been stolen in a break-in hours earlier in Redditch, more than 20 miles away. Officers chased the vehicle before the driver of the stolen Range Rover crashed it into parked cars, believed to be a Vauxhall Corsa and Hyundai Getz, on Twyning Road, close to the junction with City Road, near Summerfield Park.
