Enfield double stabbing: Man killed and boy, 16, in hospital after terror attacks

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. Despite the efforts of the paramedics, the man, aged over 50 years, died on the spot.

A 50-year-old man was killed in the attacks

A man has been killed in a horror double stabbing which also left a 16-year-old boy in hospital.

Police said they were called to a property on the N13, Enfield, at around 12.30am this morning. Both the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service attended, but despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man could not be saved. The victim, who is over 50 years old, died on the spot. Officers said his next of kin have been informed.



Another victim, a 16-year-old boy, was treated for stab wounds, but thankfully his condition is not considered serious, according to police.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of murder and grievous bodily harm and took him to a north London police station.

Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation and said: “I understand the shock that such an incident will cause the local community and I want to thank them for their patience while we carried out our work at the scene .

“Everyone involved was known to each other, an arrest has been made and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

“Residents will continue to see both specialists and local officers in and around the location over the coming days; if you have any concerns or information that you think might help, please speak to them, contact your local police team or call 101.”
