DISRESPECTING, VIOLENTLY, CAUSING A DISTURBANCE, ASSAULTING A PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – Ashley Belanger-Boudrias, 26, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 3, 2024 and charged with:

  • Failure to comply with probation order
  • Reasons under $5,000
  • Causing a disturbance
  • Assault a peace officer

It is alleged that on 3 May 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep quiet and be of good behaviour. Also on this date, the woman damaged property at a business and caused a disturbance. The police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was spotted, and while she was being arrested, she allegedly assaulted a police officer. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 13, 2024.

MANDATE

Cornwall, ON – Michelle David, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 3, 2024, on an outstanding warrant. The woman was allegedly scheduled to appear in court on March 7, 2024 and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 3, 2024, while police were dealing with a separate matter, the woman was found. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Olivia Legue, 19, of Cardinal, ON, was arrested on May 3, 2024 and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On May 3, 2024, police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of ​​Seventh Street. West and York Streets. The woman was tracked down and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed that she was driving the car under the influence of alcohol. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 21, 2024.

Cornwall, ON – Justin Pawis-Lepage, 32, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 4, 2024 and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged that on May 4, 2024, the man attended a business on Ninth Street East, selected merchandise and left the store without attempting to pay for the items. The police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was found, arrested and charged. He was released to appear in court on June 4, 2024.

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on May 4, 2024 and charged with failure to comply with a probation order. It is alleged that on 17 April 2024 the man was ordered by a probation order with relevant conditions not to contact or communicate with his ex-girlfriend or her immediate family and not to be within 100 meters of of no place where his ex-girlfriend is. known to live, work or frequent. It is assumed that on this date the man was in contact with his ex-girlfriend’s son. The police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 4, 2024, the man presented himself at police headquarters to address the matter. He was arrested, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 15, 2024. Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old male from Akwesasne was arrested on May 5, 2024, on an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on April 15, 2024, the young man was scheduled to go to police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. In addition, it is alleged that on April 25, 2024, the young man was scheduled to appear in court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 5, 2024, police responded to a disturbance call and an investigation ensued. The young man was located and the warrant was executed. She was released to appear in court on June 20, 2024. Her name has not been released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Cornwall, ON – Timothy MacInnis, 39, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 5, 2024, on an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on September 7, 2023, the man was scheduled to appear in court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 5, 2024, police responded to a theft complaint. The man was located and the warrant was executed. He was held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY INJURY, MAKING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old from Summerstown was arrested on May 6, 2024 and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of domestic assault
  • Assault causing bodily harm – suffocation, suffocation or strangulation
  • Making threats of death or bodily harm – domestic

It is assumed that on May 4, 2024, the young man assaulted his girlfriend. Moreover, it is alleged that on May 5, 2024, the young man assaulted and choked his girlfriend and made threats to kill her. On May 6, 2024, police responded to a suspicious person call and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed that the man was in contact with the person with whom he was forbidden to come into contact. He was found, arrested, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

POSSESSION OF FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION AGAINST PROHIBITION ORDER, FAILURE TO COMPLY, POSSESSION OF WEAPONS, CARRY OF CONCEALED WEAPONS

Cornwall, ON – Larry Labelle, 47, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 6, 2024 and charged with the following:

  • Five counts of possessing a firearm or ammunition contrary to a banning order
  • Failure to comply with release order
  • Five counts of breach of probation
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Carrying a concealed weapon

It is alleged that on 6 May 2024, the man was bound over by separate banning orders, with the relevant condition that he not possess any prohibited weapons. Also on this date, the man was bound by a release order, with the relevant condition that he not communicate with a certain person. The man is also understood to have been bound by a probation order with relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior and not possess any weapons. On May 6, 2024, police responded to a suspicious person call and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed that the man was in contact with the person with whom he was forbidden to come into contact. The investigation also revealed that the man was in possession of a weapon. The man was found, arrested and charged. He was held for a bail hearing.

DISRESPECTING, OBSTRUCTING A PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, ON – Curtis Griffith, 36, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 6, 2024 and charged with failure to comply with probation order and obstructing a peace officer. On May 6, 2024, police responded to an unsolicited call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged that on 6 May 2024 the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The man was found and while under arrest allegedly obstructed a peace officer. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

IMITATION FIREARMS, POSSESSION OF IMITATION WEAPONS FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, MAKING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Kelly Morey, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 6, 2024 and charged with:

  • Imitation firearm – used during the commission of the crime
  • Possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Making threats of death or bodily harm

It is alleged that on May 6, 2024, the woman pointed a gun at an individual known to her and made threats. The police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was found, arrested and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on June 20, 2024.

ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT, GROSS NEGLIGENCE PERSONAL INJURY, OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE

MAN ARRESTED AND ACCUSED OF 13 SEXUAL CRIMES

Cornwall, ON – A 48-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 11, 2023 and charged with:

  • Three counts of sexual assault
  • Two counts of sexual exploitation
  • Two counts of voyeurism
  • You make child pornography
  • Possession of child pornography
  • Two counts of administering a harmful thing
  • Two points to overcome resistance by taking a drug

It is alleged that between 2012-20, the man administered a narcotic drug to his stepdaughter and sexually assaulted the woman while she was aged 16-24. The man also allegedly took intimate photos of the woman without her knowledge. The police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 11, 2023, the man presented himself at police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 15, 2023. His name has not been released as it would identify the victim in question.

As a result of these allegations, members of the Criminal Investigation Division conducted a further investigation which resulted in the arrest of a 49-year-old woman from Cornwall on 6 May 2024 and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of accessory after the fact of a felony
  • Criminal negligence causing bodily harm
  • Obstruction of justice

It is alleged that in 2015, the woman was made aware of her daughter’s photos on her husband’s electronic device and in 2017 she caught her husband taking intimate photos of her. The woman also allegedly tried to dissuade her daughter from contacting the police. Following this investigation, it is alleged that between January 1, 2015 and June 9, 2023, the woman failed to protect her daughter from ongoing abuse. On May 6, 2024, the woman presented herself at police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 6, 2024. Her name has not been released to protect the identity of the victim.
