Stacey Solomon says “OMG” as “lunchbox police” slam daughter’s food

Stacey Solomon has been embroiled in an online row sparked by husband Joe Swash, who posted a photo of daughter Rose’s lunchbox. She felt the need to respond after people jumped to criticize what her child is being given to eat. One person said the grapes were a “choking hazard” even if quartered.

The photo showed a variety of foods, including grapes, carrots, cucumbers, ham and a chocolate chip cookie. However, people began to strike. Sarah M warned: “No, the biscuit can’t be next to the ham”, while another asked: “What do you do when you put the biscuit on top of cut grapes next to the ham and a wet biscuit?” Meanwhile, a third suggested: “Cut the ham and put it in the space next to the cheese, nutter.” Michaela said: “Dipped biscuits next to grapes, ham should be wrapped, just my opinion”

Mum-of-five and TV presenter Stacey, 42, said: “Omfg the lunchbox police are out in force today.” The Wills replied: “@staceysolomon honestly you wouldn’t believe you’ve been making lunch boxes for a while now.”

Many were actually envious of archietillytim saying, “Yay! I wish I had packed lunches like this when I was a kid. The biscuit would be the first thing to be mocked though!” Laraanne said: “Some of these comments are hilarious, I’d say Rosie wins – she’s great x”

The Payntes lunchbox policeman said, “Please cut the smaller grapes again, drowning.” However, Stacey reasonably replied, “They’re already in quarters and they’ve cut lengths. Think he’ll be fine with these.”

Wingingitmum found it all pretty funny: “the comment section shriveled me up!! ‘Constructive criticism’” Auzanne added: “Look at all the policewomen who have nothing better to do.” Shivvy said: “People who complain about the biscuit touching the man’s ham, my daughter eats the mud on the shoe and the chips on the floor if they fall.”
