Live: Tube delays and incidents as line hits severe delays and tram is suspended

There are severe delays on several London Underground lines as well as closures on parts of the tram network this morning, Tuesday 7 May. Two metro lines are partially suspended, one is also severely delayed.

Three other metro lines are reporting minor delays today. This is also the first full day of strikes on various rail services as members of the Aslef union walk out in an ongoing pay dispute.

The District Line is currently partially suspended in East London with no service between Barking and Upminster. This is due to a broken down train at Plaistow and has caused severe delays to the rest of the line.
