Hollywood star downs Birmingham curry sweetly as fans say ‘what a legend’

Jack Black certainly appeared to be making the most of his time in Birmingham yesterday, surprising fans as he explored the city. The star was in town on tour with Kyle Gass for a series of sold-out Tenacious D shows, performing at the Resorts World Arena last night, May 7.

In the morning, the Hollywood singer, comedian and actor was snapped with a fan outside Poundland, where he jokingly asked the Wolverhampton father-of-two to hand over his keys and wallet, as well as his phone a selfie.

Then later, before heading back to the Arena to start the show, Jack and a group of colleagues headed to famous Birmingham eateries Asha’s for a curry. Jack Black joins the likes of Tom ‘Two Tikkas’ Cruise and singer Pink who visited Asha while she was in Birmingham, with the latter giving them a shout-out at her Villa Park gig, saying they gave him ‘the most good Indian in her life”.
