The moment the man jumps out of the car and smashes the driver’s window with a gun

This is the moment a man jumped from his vehicle and smashed a moving car with a steering wheel.

The video, shared with the ECHO, shows the man attacking the car in broad daylight. The driver of the damaged car then tries to escape the attacker at speed and crashes into a car in the opposite lane, which is stopped in oncoming traffic.

In the footage, passengers in the car can be heard laughing and shouting “oh my god” as the driver jumps out of the vehicle.

The car damaged in the incident is understood to be a silver Volkswagen. Witnesses can be heard swearing and shouting as the incident unfolds.

The incident is understood to have happened on Prescot Road in Liverpool on Friday, May 3 at around 3pm. The ECHO has contacted Merseyside Police for a statement about the incident.
