Sam Eseh rejoins Castleford on loan

  • Sam Eseh joins Castleford Tigers on loan.
  • The agreement is an initial loan period of two weeks.
  • John Duffy: “It’s great that Sam will get the chance to play some minutes in Super League.”

Wigan Warriors can confirm that Sam Eseh has rejoined Castleford Tigers on loan.

The 20-year-old will link up with Craig Lingard’s side for an initial two-week spell.

Eseh starred for the Warriors reserves in their 44-0 rout of Hull KR last weekend.

The prop forward has recovered from a hamstring injury picked up in pre-season training and is yet to feature for the first team. He joined Castelford two weeks ago but did not play as a precaution after withdrawing in training.

Warriors transition coach John Duffy said: “It’s great that Sam will get the opportunity to play some minutes in Super League.

“His opportunity with Castleford has been delayed slightly as a precaution, but we look forward to seeing him work with Craig and his staff at Wheldon Road.”

Sam Eseh Jr is sponsored by Wigan GP Alliance
