Man wanted after Croydon bus fires cause nearly £200,000 worth of damage

Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to after two buses were set on fire.

An estimated £200,000 worth of damage was caused after the top deck of the 154 Croydon to Morden bus was gutted by fire on Friday 8 October.

The driver immediately called for help as passengers rushed out of the burning vehicle as it traveled along Mollison Drive in South Beddington. No injuries were reported.

Authorities also want to speak to the same man in connection with another arson attack on a 154 bus that took place on Sunday, October 3.

A small fire was discovered at the back while traveling from West Croydon to Morden.

This fire was extinguished before serious damage occurred.
