what’s the story

Royal Enfield has unveiled the design of its much-awaited 350cc bobber, the Goan Classic 350.

The bike, which has been in development for quite some time, is expected to deliver 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque.

Despite the fact that the design image is low-res and monochrome, it shows an attractive bike that is sure to attract enthusiasts.

Includes elements from the Classic 350 model

The Goan Classic 350 borrows several design cues from the popular Classic 350 model.

These include the headlight pod, front forks, engine and some body panels.

However, it also introduces new features such as a removable mounting seat and a monkey-hanging handlebar.

This handlebar design is expected to provide a more upright hand position compared to other models.

The unique seating configuration sets it apart

A key feature of the Goan Classic 350 is the seating configuration.

Unlike its direct competitors, the Jawa bobbers, this bike can comfortably seat two people as standard.

The passenger seat appears to be easily removable and is attached directly to the main frame instead of the rear fender as in the Classic and Bullet models.

When detached, it gives the bike a sleek and minimalist look characteristic of true bobber style.

The Goan Classic 350 will have whitewall tires as standard

The Goan Classic 350 also stands out with its whitewall tyres.

It will be one of the few new bikes available in 2024 to come with whitewall tires as standard, joining the ranks of models like Harley-Davidson’s Heritage Classic.

This feature further enhances the bike’s appeal and sets it apart from other models in its category.

Goan Classic 350 to accommodate a 350cc engine

The Goan Classic 350 will house a 350cc J-platform engine that currently powers four models.

While it is expected to retain an identical 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of torque, minor tweaks could be made to align with the relaxed nature of the bike.

The muffler also appears to have a new dark design, hinting at potential internal changes.
