Firefighters are tackling a ‘significant’ blaze in Swindon

A “significant” fire broke out in a commercial premises.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) are at the scene in Old Town, Swindon.

A spokesman said there were 10 fire engines and 40 to 50 firefighters working to extinguish the blaze and were expected to remain at the scene for the next few hours.

DWFRS advised nearby residents to keep windows and doors closed.
