Enfield Police are investigating shots fired at a residence

ENFIELD, NC (WITN) – The Enfield Police Department is seeking information about shots fired at a home in East Carolina early Wednesday morning.

Enfield Police officers say around 3:30 this morning, they were called to the Sherrod Heights area for shots fired.

When officers arrived, they say they found a residence riddled with bullet holes.

Officials say people were inside at the time of the shooting.
