The lowest variant – fireball is priced at 1.76 lakhs. Above it is the Stellar trim at Rs 1.81 lakh and finally the Supernova trim is placed at Rs 1.91 lakh. This bike not only replaces the Royal Enfield Thunderbird but also pushes the price segment a bit further.

Now, the Royal Enfield Meteor Price makes it a rival to the Jawa Perak and its own Himalayan adventure cruiser. The price of this bike puts it in a competitive part of the segment. Royal Enfield Meteor Engine

The engine is a major improvement over the previous model. The engine now uses a 4-valve SOHC configuration. This along with the counterbalancing reduces the vibrations that have been a big problem with RE engines. The engine is expected to deliver a strong mid-range and also heat up less due to the oil cooling setting.

This engine produces 20 HP of power and 27 Nm of torque. It will be delivered to the wheels using a 5-speed gearbox. Now you might be wondering why there isn’t a 6-speed gearbox. Well, there are many things on this bike that could have been better, but they are as they are for now. The UC 350 engine seen on the classic RE will look dated in front of this new engine. Royal Enfield Tripper

With the Meteor in the top 2 trims of the bike, one has the option of getting the RE tripper. This is a secondary dial on the instrument panel that can only be used for navigation purposes. This is very useful as it stops all the other distractions that come with mounting a phone on your handlebars. This tripper will be added as an add-on for the 650 users as an accessory.
