Man standing on CT road, hit, killed by truck

The crash happened in Hartford County around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, on I-91 north of the Exit 46 ramp in Enfield.

According to Connecticut State Police, Dutchess County resident TJ Jennings of Hopewell Junction was sitting in the right lane of the highway when he was struck by the truck.

The truck came to rest on the right shoulder, state police said.

State police said Jennings suffered “non-life-threatening” injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one in the truck was injured.
