CAVU, founded by Manchester Airports Group, has revealed its planned introduction of a private terminal called ‘ether’ at Manchester Airport (MAN/EGCC), which will open later this year.

CAVO, which operates 24 lounges, has formed a strategic partnership with BMW and award-winning chef Adam Reid to deliver the new premium experience which will be available to all passengers flying from Manchester Airport.

Guests using the private terminal will be able to use either an express service, for those with hand luggage only, or a service including checked luggage when departing or arriving at the airport.

Packages include menus curated by Adam Reid, drinks and a private chauffeur service to your flight using BMW vehicles such as the new all-electric i7.

Passengers can even invite non-flying guests to use the service to the point of departure to allow for a farewell.

Martin Jones, CEO of CAVU, said: “The launch of Ether marks a pivotal moment in our mission to redefine the airport journey. Building on the success of our existing lounges, we recognize the growing demand for premium yet affordable airport experiences. ether fills this gap, elevating the airport’s premium travel offerings.”

The premium service comes as Manchester Airport exceeds 200 destinations and demand for international travel from England’s north-west hub is at an all-time high.

Aether is expected to open on November 4, 2024 and can be pre-ordered starting June 6.
