Cushman & Wakefield exchange contracts for new West End office

The global commercial real estate services firm has exchanged contracts to new offices at 25 Baker Street, London.

A brand new development, Derwent London, Baker Street will replace Portman Square as Cushman & Wakefield’s West End office from September 2025.

25 Baker Street will offer state-of-the-art office space with a communal roof terrace and outdoor gym and high quality end-of-journey facilities. Once completed, it will be a zero carbon building, aiming for BREEAM Outstanding, LEED Gold and an EPC rating of ‘A’. The building will also have direct access to a new pedestrian public courtyard with cafes and restaurants.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Project & Development and Workplace Services teams will handle the office fit-out to create an exceptional space for colleagues and clients. The new accommodation is located a short distance from Portman Square, retaining the comfort, connectivity and facilities that Cushman & Wakefield colleagues and clients currently enjoy.

Cushman & Wakefield’s main London office center is at 125 Old Broad Street in the City of London, where the majority of the workforce is based to maximize collaboration, creativity and innovation and to strengthen the culture, with Baker Street being an important presence, providing access to clients and client properties in the West End.

Cushman & Wakefield has also secured new accommodation for its Birmingham office on the 5th floor of its existing building at 1 Colmore Square. The move allows the company to bring colleagues together in a space that has been designed to support collaborative work. The fit-out is currently underway and colleagues are moving into the new space at the end of this month.
