New Royal Enfield Bike Revealed! Coming Soon » MotorOctane

Royal Enfield is on a bike launch spree with the latest launch being the Himalayan 450. Royal Enfield will be launching several new bikes on these new 450cc and 650cc engines. Now he has unveiled his next motorcycle, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. So how is it different from the Super Meteor 650? Let’s find out.

Royal Enfield 650 Rifle

Royal Enfield showcased the Shotgun 650 with a custom livery at the Motoverse festival. Now, it has revealed the 650 rifle that will be shipping to customers. The revealed shotgun comes with normal color schemes compared to the funky scheme of the previously shown model. Color options include Green Drill, Plasma Blue, Sheet Metal Gray and Stencil White.

The Shotgun 650 shares most things with the Super Meteor 650. Under the hood, you have the same 648cc parallel engine that produces 46bhp and 52.3Nm of torque. The wheels on the Shotgun are larger in the 19″/16″ configuration. Then we have inverted front forks and a double shock absorber in the rear. It comes with a 13.8 liter fuel tank. The Shotgun can be bought with only one seat or you can add the passenger seat. The Shotgun 650 comes with the same list of features as the Super Meteor 650. It comes with LED headlights, a tripper navigation bridge and dual-channel ABS.

Royal Enfield has not specified any fixed launch date for the Shotgun 650. However, going by the trend, we might see its launch in the first two months of 2024. What about the price? Shotgun 650 price is expected to start from Rs 4.50 lakhs (on road, Mumbai).
