Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Design Patent Revealed; Design, hardware and other details revealed

Design patent confirms monkey bars, whitewall tires and more

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Design Patent Revealed

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 bobber, probably called the Royal Enfield Shotgun 350, is one of the few Royal Enfield bikes expected to be launched by this year. And now its design patent has been revealed.

One of the main points of interest seen in the patent image is the passenger seat, which will most likely be a removable unit. However, the kick rail design and overall construction of the passenger seat in this patent image is different from the detachable unit seen on the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The bike also gets white wall tires and the indicators appear to be LED units . These details have already been seen before, when the bike was spied together with the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650. Other details spotted in the patent images include the headlight and headlight cover design, front wing and fork caps, all of which appear to be similar to the Classic 350. It also gets mini handlebars with monkey bars and a fenders that hug the tires, which we saw when it was spied four months ago.

The upcoming Shotgun 350 will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder engine found in the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, while braking duties will be handled by front and rear disc brakes.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 is expected to be priced around Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom) and is likely to be launched in the coming months. It will rival the Jawa Perak and the Jawa 42 Bobber.
