Emmerdale viewers are expecting a show legend to take place with ‘ultimate revenge’ planned.

As Emmerdale fans know, the pensioner recently conned Kerry out of thousands of pounds. This came after she approached him for an appraisal of a necklace she had stolen from a cruise ship.

Eric had told her it wasn’t worth much, meaning he couldn’t pay for Amy’s daughter’s wedding to Matty. She had to confess everything to her daughter on the big day before Eric stepped in and paid for it at the last minute by becoming the ‘hero’.

During Thursday night’s hour-long episode of Emmerdale, viewers saw Kerry discover Eric’s evil deed. Many viewers took to X to predict that he would take revenge against the village faithful.

Saw @lalavie444’s post: “No fan of Kerry but good thing he’s a hideous rat Eric unmasked. I really hope she recovers on her own.” While @1stLadyHooligan wrote: “Eric is so devastated. There’s no way Kerry is giving it up now that she’s seen the necklace sell for nearly £20,000 #Emmerdale.”
