Former LOSTPROPHETS vocalist IAN WATKINS, stabbed and beaten in prison, now in ‘life-threatening’ condition

Former The Lost Prophets vocalist Ian Watkins was sentenced to 35 years in prison in 2013 for what can only be described as the most horrific child sex crimes imaginable. Watkins was taken hostage by three inmates shortly after 9am on Saturday 5 August. Watkins he was stabbed and beaten, and was finally released by prison officers six hours after the incident.

“Police are investigating an incident which took place at HMP Wakefield on Saturday,” a spokesman for HMP Wakefield said. “We are unable to comment further while police investigate.”

Watkins also made headlines in 2019 when he was sentenced to additional time after authorities found a cell phone in his anus.
