ITV Emmerdale fans ‘determine’ who will be sent to prison after Ethan leaves Nicky for dead

Viewers of ITV’s Emmerdale are predicting a shock departure could soon happen as a local resident is speculated to be jailed after leaving Nicky to perish. Soap fans are predicting more exits following a scene in which Ethan Anderson (played by Emile John) leaves Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope), who has been seriously injured in a car accident.

The two found themselves forced to evacuate the village after Suni Sharma’s (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) urgent phone call to seek help for Nicky. Caught in a terrible state in a pub toilet due to the recognition of his previous attackers around him, chef Nicky calls his partner for help. Despite Nicky preferring to drive alone, Ethan, advocating less alcohol consumption, opted to drive the vehicle.

The high-speed ride through the village roads led to an inevitable crash – with Ethan escaping unharmed; in contrast, Nicky ended up wounded and drenched in his own blood. After making sure Nicky’s breathing was intact, Ethan ran off, abandoning Nicky injured.

Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) was passing by and decided to stop and help the injured Nicky. Call for an ambulance; she reached out to Caleb (Will Ash) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly), who approached their son, Express reports.

The episode culminated with Nicky being hospitalized, where doctors gave Caleb and Ruby a grim health update about their son. In the chaos, a distraught Ruby entered the hospital asking, “Moira, where is she and what happened?”.

Moira revealed: “I found him on the road down there, his car was pretty badly wrecked. Then he must have managed to get out and fall off her.” As Ruby asked about the events, Moira said, “He was unconscious when we found him.”

Upon Nicky’s arrival in a hospital bed, medical staff informed his parents: “We’ve had a CT scan, but I’m afraid the head injury is extremely serious.” They added urgently: “There is a bleed on the brain…we will do everything we can.”
