Teenager seriously injured after car and motorbike crash in Coventry

A teenager has suffered serious injuries after a car and motorbike crashed in Coventry. It happened on Belgrave Road in Wyken.

Police were called to the scene at around 7.55pm last Tuesday (April 30). It was discovered that a car and a moped were involved in a collision near Caludon Castle Park.




Paramedics attended and found a teenager with serious injuries. He received treatment at the scene before being taken to Coventry University Hospital in Walsgrave.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We were called to a crash involving a moped and a car on Belgrave Road on Tuesday, April 30. Officers attended and a teenager was taken to University Hospital Coventry for further checks.”

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 7.55pm on April 30 to an RTC involving a moped and a car on Belgrave Road, Wyken in Coventry. Crews found a teenager driving the moped.

“He was assessed and suffered serious non-life threatening injuries. He received treatment at the scene before being transported to Coventry University Hospital for further treatment.”
