William Saliba believes Arsenal have both the best attack and defense in the Premier League as they continue their battle with Manchester City for the title this season.

The Gunners top the table but are still second favorites to lift the trophy as the champions are just one point behind them with a game in hand.

Mikel Arteta’s side have played a game more than Pep Guardiola’s but have scored more goals (88) than any other team in the division and conceded fewer (28) than any of their rivals.

The French centre-back labeled his side “unbelievable” and believes their defense and attack are second to none in the top flight.

“I have good team-mates covering me to keep clean sheets and we are an incredible team that can attack,” Saliba told Arsenal’s official website.

“We can defend ourselves, we can suffer. I think we are the best offense and the best defense.’

Arsenal have just two Premier League games to play, starting at Manchester United on Sunday, and despite Saliba having huge faith in his squad, he knows it will be a tough test.

“We know it won’t be easy to win against them so we have to be focused because they will be good against us,” he said.

“The last time we played them it was a tough game because they opened the scoring in the first half and after we came back it was 50/50 in the second half.”

Arsenal’s Premier League title fate is not in their own hands, hoping Manchester City will drop points in their remaining three games.

Arteta thinks positively, however, imagining the celebrations with the trophy at the end of the campaign.

“My brain always goes to the players who lift the Premier League, that’s what my brain is doing at the moment,” Arteta told a press conference on Friday. “I’m following my brain and my gut and that’s how I feel, and that’s what I want everyone to think, and hopefully we can do it.”
