Preparations for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa continued this week.

The Reds head to Villa Park on Monday (May 13) in Jurgen Klopp’s penultimate game as manager. Klopp will leave at the end of the season after nine years in charge at Anfield.

Ahead of the match, Liverpool still have players ruled out due to injury. Conor Bradley returned to the matchday squad in the win over Tottenham last weekend after missing three games with an ankle injury. And Stefan Bajcetic returned to action after missing most of the season with a calf problem. He played a total of 25 minutes against Spurs.

Thiago has not featured for Liverpool since his five-minute cameo in the defeat to Arsenal on February 4. That cameo remains his only appearance of the season as he continues to recover.

injury: Knee.

He has been on the sidelines since December when he suffered a knee injury during an appearance for Liverpool’s Under-21 side. No time frame was given for when the club expects Doak to return from injury.
