13 stylish Liverpool shoppers this week with outfits from Vinted, Primark and Matalan

The sun was out in full force in Liverpool this week, with temperatures set to rival Ibiza, and the people of Liverpool came out to enjoy it.

On Wednesday and Thursday, we wandered around Liverpool ONE to find Liverpool’s stylish shoppers and discover where they got their style inspiration from.




As Liverpool ONE is home to stores such as Bershka, Superdry and Levi’s, there is a wide range of styles to suit most people’s tastes, often reflected in the range of different outfits seen around the shopping complex.

Here, we’ve compiled the 10 best photos of the week, with the biggest influence appearing to be the rising temperatures bringing out the summer wardrobe.

Faith, 19, from Liverpool enjoyed the weather in a Boohoo skirt and Shein top. She teamed the look with Doc Martens and tights from Amazon.

Carol Bolton, 68, from Southport, was wearing jeans from M&S, a jacket from Uniqlo and a shirt from Primark. She said her style goal is to “try to be as fashionable as possible for my age group and not look stupid.”

Sharon, 25, of German-Nigerian nationality, pictured wearing jeans from Primark, a jacket from Pretty Little Thing, a bag from TK MAXX, a scarf from Vinted and shoes from New Balance. She said: “I love the 90s style, the baggy stuff. I try to switch to the little girl sometimes, but I prefer the wider one.”

Erin and Julia, both in their 20s, were out making the most of the good weather. Erin (right), from Shropshire, wore a Nike jacket and shirt from a charity shop, with shoes from KOI Footwear. Julia, from Poland, opted for a shirt from TK Maxx, trousers from Bershka and shoes she bought from a charity shop.

Anastasia and Caitlin Gibson, both from Liverpool, said they picked up the style “as we travel”. Anastasia (right), 26,’s scarf was from India and Caitlin, 28,’s jacket was from Turkey. They said their style was built around “colorful” things. The rest of Anastasia’s outfit was from Shein and Primark, and Caitlin’s dress is from Matalan.

A lot of fashion-forward people are now trying to model their looks in certain decades, and Katrina Kanepe, 27, is a perfectly coordinated example of this. The Latvian Russian said: “I really like the 50s. That old-fashioned, classy style.”

Another example of coordination was Lauren Partridge, 24, from Blackpool. She said her outfit was from Vinted.

Following the trend of buying second-hand, Faine said her clothes come “mostly from boot sales and charity shops”. The 36-year-old Wirral native said her inspiration was her mother, who was also brightly dressed.

Lauren Clayton, 25, wore an adorable Highland cow jumpsuit by Run and Fly. She said: “It’s just colorful and happy, a beautiful way to express myself.”

Alice, 20, and Inas, 21, went to enjoy the sun together. Alice (left) said her outfit was from Pull & Bear and H&M, while Inas bought it from Shein and charity shops. They said the main struggle of the warming weather was “thinking of a summer outfit that didn’t look too beachy”. Alice said her favorite for inspiration was a Pinterest board she had made, and Inas said she preferred “casual loungewear”.
