Shoppers are turning to “luxury” bedding because it keeps you much cooler than cotton at night

Shoppers are raving about Panda’s ‘luxury’ bed sheets, which promise to keep you cooler than cotton on those warm nights. As temperatures rise, getting a good night’s sleep can become a challenge, but Panda’s Signature+ Bamboo Lyocell bed is hailed for its ability to adjust to your ‘perfect’ body temperature, ensuring a comfortable kip whatever the climate.

These heat-regulating sheets wouldn’t look out of place in a posh hotel and have even been matched with high-end products from retailers such as Marks and Spencer. Made from bamboo, the sheets offer several benefits, including preventing skin irritation and alleviating symptoms associated with hay fever and eczema.

The fabric’s natural antimicrobial qualities help ward off dust mites, while its breathability is great for those who suffer from ‘night sweats’. Panda assures customers that the bedding is non-absorbent, anti-static and odor-resistant, promising a hassle-free experience.

With an impressive average score of 4.4 out of five stars from 243 reviews, it’s not just Panda’s word you have to take for bedding quality. One satisfied customer said: “This is an excellent product. You get what you pay for and can highly recommend spending the extra on this bedding. A great night’s sleep as I have now brought the duvet. So comfortable and soft.”

A second person commented: “I’m now at the age where night sweats are common and this is the best bedding I’ve found that doesn’t contribute to overheating! – if they had the same openings in the middle at the back as the French bed linen, the pillows would look much neater when the bed is made. However, this is a minor problem compared to better sleep and extreme comfort from soft bedding. I would thoroughly recommend this and it is suitable all year round.”

Another customer referred to them as “so incredibly soft and comfortable,” adding that the sheet sets “helped my son sleep so much better. He has severe eczema and struggles at night but this has made a big difference. Thank you”.

Some users have complained that the sheets can move around the bed at night, however, this could be a result of personal sleeping style. One customer explained: “The only negative is that the sheet gets tight very quickly after a night or two of sleep (again, it may be worse for me as I clearly don’t sit still in my sleep) and the duvet has a tendency to to slide into the cover more than it would in a cotton equivalent. I’m glad I bought it, but I’m not sure it’s worth the significant price increase.”

For a complete set, Panda bedding starts at £130. This includes a fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases. Available in chic cream or elegant dark green, choose from two shades that will easily blend in with any existing interior.

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider these bamboo sheets from Marks and Spencer. Or, John Lewis’ bamboo duvet cover set costs £100.
